Opportunities present themselves in periods that seem to be associated with the strongest emotions, both highs and lows in the market. Its important to capture and realize gains when emotions are running high, and conversely there is a time to consider buying opportunities when markets are lower and present a more attractive buying opportunity. Being aware of your emotional response to market ups and downs can help you use them to your advantage.
