Elizabeth was raised in Stow, Ohio. She graduated from the University of Denver in Colorado. Upon graduation, Elizabeth worked as a research assistant at the board of governors of the Federal Reserve in Washington, DC. She began her career in the financial services industry in 1987, where she was a personal financial advisor at Ameriprise (formerly IDS/American Express Financial Services). Ameriprise is known in the industry for its outstanding professional training program. While at Ameriprise, she was recognized by the company for her Quality of Advice, and due to her demonstrated level of expertise, experience, and leadership, she was considered a senior financial advisor.
Elizabeth formed Thorley Wealth Management, Inc.to provide a truly independent and comprehensive approach to financial planning. Our vision is to develop strategies that put individuals and families on a path to achieve their most important financial goals.
Elizabeth has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner (CFP®) since 1991, completed the Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) professional education program in 2001 and in 2015 achieved her Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation. In 2016, Elizabeth was certified as an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designee by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. She is also an investment adviser representative of Commonwealth Financial Network, member FINRA/SIPC, and holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network. In New York, she holds health and variable life insurance licenses and is certified in NYS Partnership Long-Term Care Insurance.

Elizabeth lives in Fairport where she raised her 2 children, David and Vienna. Son, David, is a medical student at SUNY Stony Brook Medical School in Long Island, NY, and daughter, Vienna, recently graduated from the College of Wooster in Ohio with a major in Biology. Elizabeth is very active in her community serving as the current Board Chair of the Rochester Area Community Foundation, a member of the board at the Ronald McDonald House Charities and on the Executive Committee of the Estate Planning Council of Rochester. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys golfing, cooking, reading and travelling. She hopes to travel to every continent during her lifetime.

Denise Werner was raised in Killawog, New York. She graduated from Herkimer County Community College with a degree in radio/TV broadcasting. Upon graduation, Denise worked as an on-air disc jockey for various radio stations. She began her career in the financial services industry in 1983 as the assistant to the regional vice president at Ameriprise (formerly IDS/American Express Financial Advisors). While at Ameriprise, she received several recognition awards for superior service and participation in the company's Quality of Advice program. She was promoted to business systems manager in 1997 and was instrumental in the rollout and training of technology for the upstate New York region.
In 2000, she obtained her FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities registrations, as well as her notary public license. Denise is a registered back-office assistant of Commonwealth Financial Network, member FINRA/SIPC.
Denise and her husband, Stephen, live in Lima, New York. They have two children, Emily and Eric, daughter-in-law Holly and granddaughter, Maggie. In her free time, Denise enjoys gardening, reading, walking, and spending time with friends and family.
Senior Client Service Associate
Elizabeth Marks was raised in Buffalo, New York. She graduated from Erie Community College with a degree in Office Technology. Upon graduating, Elizabeth accepted a position with Georgetown Capital Group as an Office Assistant. She began learning about the financial industry and earned her FINRA Series 6 and 63 securities registrations in 2002. Liz began working directly with the Financial Advisors and their clients and headed multiple groups. During the 15 years Elizabeth was with Georgetown Capital Group, she was recognized several times for her outstanding service and dedication to clients and earned the title of Senior Client Service Specialist. In October 2017, Liz obtained her notary public license and her NY State Health and Variable Life license in April 2018. She is committed to furthering her education and role at Thorley Wealth Management and is currently working on obtaining her Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation.
Elizabeth and her husband, Benjamin, live in Henrietta, New York with their children, Elanna, Lucas and Jordyn. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys reading and staying active. She is also a diehard Bills fan and tries to get to at least one game a year. The family enjoys planning road trips to enjoy all that New York State has to offer such as fairs, wineries, historical land marks and attractions.
Megan A. Rinaudo, CFP®
Megan was raised in Batavia, New York. She graduated from Niagara University with a degree in communications. Upon graduation, Megan began working for Paychex in their National Sales Support division. Throughout her 9 years of service with Paychex, she held several sales positions, the last of which was as a Registered Representative with the IRA department. Megan obtained her FINRA Series 6 & 63 securities registrations in 2013. In 2015, Megan decided she wanted to further her career in financial advising and accepted a position with Merrill Lynch. She obtained her FINRA Series 7 and 65 securities registrations in 2016. To expand on her capacity as a financial advisor, Megan obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Certification in 2017. Through her experience in sales and financial services, Megan has developed strong communication and analytical skills as well as a deep understanding of the importance of putting client’s needs first. Her high level of enthusiasm to help clients prepare for their futures shows her commitment and passion for what she does.
Megan and her husband, Jason, live in Fairport, NY with their 2 dogs, Abby and Lola. She is involved in volunteer capacities with many activities and organizations, including serving as a board member of the American Cancer Society as well as the chair of their Associate Board of Ambassadors, serving on the committee for the Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge as well as volunteering as an in-school mentor with them, and as a volunteer with the Fairport Music Festival. Megan enjoys running, snowmobiling, and spending time with her family and friends.
